Guide to remembrance tourism in Sundgau and the Pays de Porrentruy
Guide distributed free of charge. A4 format: 21x30cm / 70 pages.
This tourist guide presents the general historical context of the last three wars (1870, 1914-1918 and 1939-1945), and local events. The 70-page document offers thematic discovery routes, embellished with maps and illustrations because the Sundgau front is rich in vestiges to discover.
Articles, short and precise, give explanations on important subjects, such as the delimitation of the Franco-German border of 1871, or the Vauthier terminals (sculptures made in the 1920s by the artist Paul Moreau-Vauthier to materialize the front line as it stood in July 1918). There are also walking routes, museums and the main places of commemoration: war memorials and cemeteries.
