Gîte La Lampisterie

The gîte “La lampisterie” welcomes you to Alsace and more precisely to Mertzen in a very quiet village in Sundgau, the country of traditional carp and chips to taste. This house dates from 1910, it has been completely renovated by us.

On the ground floor, you will find a fitted kitchen open to the dining room and the living room, a bathroom (shower and bath), separate toilet. Upstairs, an open space with games and three bedrooms (2 bedrooms with double bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed). Bed linen and towels are provided.

The cottage is located not far from several towns where you can discover museums, traditional villages: 35 minutes from Mulhouse (city of the train, electropolis museum, of the automobile, zoo...) and Belfort (Bartholdi's Lion and its citadel, old city), 50 min from Colmar and Basel, 25 min from Ferrette and Porrentruy.

Also, the cottage is intended for the discovery of our region, while enjoying the private, fenced and quiet outdoor space. On request when booking, the provision of childcare equipment is possible (safety barrier upstairs, 1 baby bed, 1 umbrella bed, 1 high chair, 1 cane stroller or 1 all-terrain stroller, bathrobe , sleeping bag, etc.).

Pets are welcome provided you inform us beforehand.

A few kms (by the cycle path or by car), you will discover the Maison de la Nature which offers activities. A playground is also within walking distance. The gîte is located along the cycle route of the Largue valley (built on the old railway line) which connects three major cycle routes: Eurovélo 6, Eurovélo 5, Eurovélo 15 as well as other cycle routes in the area. Many hiking and mountain biking are possible from the cottage (GR 532 passage in Mertzen) and near it. Any external visit is subject to the approval of the owners and any event to which external visitors are added is prohibited. The cottage is a non-smoking area. Ashtrays are available on the terrace.
