Visit to the village of Friesen - Heritage Days

Discover the village of Friesen, which has preserved around fifty timber-framed buildings, whose construction spanned 5 centuries between 1497 and 1878.

The one-piece farm from 1497-1500 is located in the heart of the village (49 rue Principale) and represents, assessed by dendrochronology, one of the oldest dated peasant houses in Alsace.

We will also visit the church, as well as the old Vernier dairy, the first dairy to have made "gruyère" in Alsace. Several inhabitants open their doors to you to make you discover their houses!
The walk ends with a drink of friendship, offered by the municipality.

By registration only, the day before at the latest.

The tour is possible on other days, including in German. Don't hesitate to ask!
