Hiking: Bendorf Dr. Herrings Cave and Kastelberg

Bendorf is undoubtedly one of the most preserved villages in the Alsatian Jura. You will not see any corn crops there and still beautiful old orchards and pastures, some of which are completely natural. The surrounding forest is beautiful and this route offers many attractions including the Dr Herrings cave, magnificent pasture beech trees, prehistoric entrenchments and the Kastelberg site, not forgetting the plague cross in the Bendorf cemetery and its legend.
