Hiking: Bendorf, Dr. Herring's cave and the Kastelberg

Bendorf is undoubtedly one of the most well-preserved Alsatian Jura villages. You will not see any corn cultivation there and still beautiful old orchards and pastures for some totally natural. The surrounding forest is beautiful and this course offers many attractions including the cave of Dr Herring, magnificent pasture beeches, prehistoric entrenchments and the Kastelberg site, not to mention the plague cross in Bendorf cemetery and its legend.
