Hiking: the circuit of the Bisel ponds

Speaking of this part of the Sundgau, André Gide wrote: "We are constantly surprised, as we cross the forest, to find ourselves in the presence of an unsuspected sheet, sleeping mysteriously in the shelter of the beech groves; the rushes y adorn narrow sandy beaches, bordering large fields of water lilies, and there are several remains that recall the First World War and the front line between Largitzen and Bisel.
