Coming to Alsace and not doing the traditional hike in the Vosges followed by the famous marcaire meal would be a faux pas!
Its “blue line”, its rounded “balloons”, its pine forests, its stubble covered with blueberries and its very distinctive cheese make the Vosges massif a must-see in Alsace.
Wherever you are, you are always a stone's throw from a curiosity, a medieval village, a fortified castle, an abbey discreetly nestled at the bottom of a valley or even a waterfall descending from the steep rocks.
