Christmas Brass

The "Christmas Brass" will return to Altkirch on December 7, 2025, in a "MasterClass" format for the performance of a Christmas repertoire, under the direction of Philippe Wendling.
Event programmed by the "Groupement des Sociétés de Musique Mulhouse Sundgau" and the town of Altkirch, as part of the Enchanted Forest, aimed at all amateur or professional musicians of the brass family, without age limit... 
Meals and snacks are provided free of charge by the town of Altkirch to all participants.
This event, which has been going on for many years, brings together musicians from all over the department, but also from southern Germany and nearby Switzerland.
In a single, highly concentrated day, the musicians who form this ephemeral orchestra, under the direction of Philippe Wendling, who is well-versed in this type of exercise, put together a musical program of around 1 hour.
At 16 p.m., the "parade" will stroll through the streets of Altkirch, accompanied by the most famous Christmas songs, to the sound of the Halle au Blé, before heading to the square in front of Notre Dame de l'Assomption, where they will conclude their day with a Christmas Concert.
