A Baroque Journey in Italy
After a blissful immersion in the German Baroque world last season, with the "Fragments of Eternity" offered by Johann Sebastian Bach, it was almost heartbreaking to put aside his enchanting cantatas...
But the new program will invite you on a sunny and invigorating journey that will showcase the Italian Baroque period this time.
Welcome then to the land of the one they called the red priest, the great Venetian master of the baroque, Lucio Antonio VIVALDI!
The ensemble is directed by Fanny Rohmer, who guides it with great finesse and subtlety. A graduate of the Strasbourg Conservatory, she teaches opera singing.
The musicians:
Luc Marin, pianist, teacher, concert performer, composer, navigates with ease through repertoires ranging from classical to jazz.
Nathalie Villette-Kuntz, a cellist in various professional orchestras and regional choirs, has, during her teaching career, trained many young cellists.
Guillaume Singer, violinist, teacher at the Ferrette music school, also a specialist in Stéphane Grappelli, is also a concert performer in several renowned jazz groups.
Nicolas Scherlen, passionate about the trumpet since his early childhood, specialized in baroque music after a professional career at the UN.
