Washhouse Festival and Flea Market

Come and enjoy two days of festivities in Balschwiller for the 30th edition of the Fête du Lavoir (Wash House Festival). On the program: entertainment, music, a friendly atmosphere, and plenty of delicious food to enjoy together.

On Saturday, a festive evening with DJ Francky is guaranteed to liven up the atmosphere. Enjoy savory and sweet tarte flambée, grilled food, and a bar. An Alsatian play will be presented by the TABU association (Théâtre Alsacien Balschwiller-Uberkummen). A grand raffle will offer the chance to win a night for two. Entertainment and games will also be available for children.

On Sunday, come stroll and browse at the large flea market. Folkloric entertainment with the washerwomen from the washhouse will create an authentic and unique atmosphere. You can also enjoy a delicious backoeffa (a type of flatbread), as well as grilled meats, tarte flambée (Alsatian flatbread), and take advantage of the refreshment stand. Numerous activities will be offered for children.
