A wooded hill separates the valleys of Ill and Thalbach. Walking through it, we discover in turn an old vineyard, a quarry marked by drama, a botanical path and the story of an unfortunate general. When you reach the lime kilns at Emlingen, the XXth century suddenly appears, frozen in stone and iron.
