Hagenthal Neuwiller hike
Intermediate
The Eptingen, already established on the margins of the Sundgau in the XXth century, held the two Hagenthals
and Neuwiller where they lived in comfortable castles. This walk crosses their former seigneury and passes through a bottleneck one kilometer wide between the borders, since Neuwiller forms a sort of French peninsula in Helvetic territory. Text Marc Glotz taken from the hiking guidebook in the Sundgau.
