As part of the activities of the Sundgau Historical SocietyA conference dedicated to the medieval history of Altkirch will be held at Sundgau Museum.

Hosted by Benoît Jordan, archivist and historian, this meeting will focus on the theme "Altkirch in the Middle Ages"The speaker is also the author of the book Altkirch, a town in Upper Alsace during the Middle Ages (11th century – 1525), recently published, which traces the evolution of the city during this key period in its history.

This conference will offer the public a privileged opportunity to better understand the urban, political and social development of Altkirch in the Middle Ages, through the research of a specialist in local history.
