The circuit of the three castles is roaming over 4 days / 3 nights with a recommended departure:  

• At the Château du Morimont in Oberlarg for better balancing of the stages
• At the Town Hall of Leymen to take advantage of access by public transport via the tram from Basel station

 Nevertheless, the stay can be made at the start of all stages.

Le bivouac, which consists of setting up your tent for a single night, from sunset to the next morning, is also possible throughout the route. More complete information from the Tourist Office.

This  80 km marked hiking route crosses the Jura massif Alsatian and uses as a common thread the three castles of the territory (Ferrette, Morimont in Oberlarg and the Landskron in Leymen). It offers you the opportunity to recharge your batteries in the soothing setting of an unknown and unspoiled region. Between hiking and discovery, the marked route takes the most beautiful paths and trails that will lead you without great difficulty from one end to the other of this little piece of land forgotten by the frenzy and the ambient agitation. The Alsatian Jura opens its doors to you, it is up to you to enter.

At 1: 33 scale, this map shows 000 walks and hikes in the Sundgau and the Alsatian Jura. Published on a tear-proof paper, it will follow you everywhere, in all weathers and for a long time! The document contains the technical data of each circuit (distance, difficulty, height difference, place of departure) as well as a brief presentation of the routes. Edited in partnership with the Vosges Clubs, it almost exclusively offers marked circuits with the same sign, generally a colored ring, to make it easier to follow the routes.

This pouch includes 17 individual files presenting looped pedestrian circuits plotted on IGN maps at 1: 25 scale. These topographical guides are supplemented with comments on the historic and tourist sites crossed. The walks last from 2h to 6h. The majority of them are half-day loops. All of these circuits follow marked routes maintained by the Vosges Clubs.

Walking guide published in June 2013 which invites you to discover the three castles of the Alsatian Jura: the castle of Ferrette, the castle of Morimont in Oberlarg and the castle of Landskron in Leymen.

This guide, written by Marc GLOTZ, describes in detail the visits to the castles and offers a small family walk from each castle.

In pocket format 18cm X 12cm, this 70-page guide also presents the Three Castles walking tour, a 75 km route to be completed in four stages which allows you to tour the Alsatian Jura massif using the ruins of its old castral network.
