The Fried Carp Route is a Remarkable Site of Taste (same label as the famous Wine Route in the Alsatian vineyard), label awarded by the National Council of Culinary Arts

On the fried carp route in the heart of our hunchbacked Alsace, in the region of the three borders France, Germany, Switzerland, is the Hotel Restaurant le Soleil Logis de France 3 *** in Wahlbach, a small village of 350 inhabitants located in the south of Alsace, part of a small region "Le Sundgau".
Establishment completely rebuilt in 2004. The hotel has 21 high-end rooms with alternating air conditioning as well as all the comforts of use.
Member of the Sundgau Route de la Carpe Frite label, you will also taste other Alsatian specialties.

Frédéric Stantina, who runs the Gare de la Gare in Hirtzbach (also known as Munzenberger), has recently been wearing the banner of the Federation of Alsace Restaurant Chefs whose objective is the promotion of Alsatian cuisine and the affirmation of know-how.
It is thus a question of distinguishing itself from a certain number of catering establishments which offer customers ready-made meals prepared in an industrial manner and simply reheated. Frédéric Stantina, who has been living in Hirtzbach for ten years, underlines an obvious fact that some people sometimes tend to forget.
Cooking takes time and sometimes you have to know how to wait a little ... There are no 5th range products, we only use fresh local products (which can also be bought frozen out of season), duck, fish including carp, sauerkraut, kidneys, vegetables etc. The spätzlés, the homemade Sürlawerlas! "lists out of order the recipient, who has six people in the kitchen and four in the dining room.
