Mountain biking trip in the Alsatian Jura

A mountain bike weekend in Alsace (2 days/1 nights) to discover a small, mysterious land with a thousand ponds located in the extreme south of the region: Sundgau. Land of tales and legends, Sundgau is ideal for mountain biking. For experienced mountain bikers, the Alsatian Jura massif offers the most sporty circuits, enhanced by beautiful climbs through typically Jura landscapes with contrasting relief. Conversely, the Largue and Ill valleys are crossed by more accessible but equally interesting circuits with their numerous ponds, trails and deep forests. 

Housed in small family hotels of your choice that will cook you local dishes, we offer a mountain biking weekend to get away from it all ... between discovery and gastronomy in the heart of unspoiled nature.

As soon as you arrive, complete topoguides will allow you to choose between 33 mountain bike circuits and thus set off to discover the Sundgau by taking marked paths and trails, full of charm which will take you without much difficulty from one end to the other of this little piece of land forgotten by the surrounding frenzy and agitation. The stay includes:

- welcome cocktail
- 1 night in a double room and half board (single room supplement)
- the gourmet dinner (three-course menu), the adventurer's breakfast
- a mountain bike guidebook with the choice of 33 routes provided on your arrival

- a map of the Sundgau mountain bike area provided on your arrival

Optional :

- lunch basket (around ten euros)
- the two mountain bike hikes accompanied by a guide (250€/day for a group of 4 to 12 people)

Day 1 : Arrival mid-morning for a welcome at the hotel-restaurant of your choice. Depending on the accommodation selected, you will have a choice of several mountain biking routes detailed in guidebooks and a mountain biking map provided upon your arrival.

Day 2 : Departure for the second hike of your choice

It is of course possible to extend the stay by one or more nights. 

Departure: depending on the accommodation selected, you will be able to leave directly from your accommodation. The network of mountain bike circuits ensures the proximity of a departure from any accommodation.

Distance : The mountain bike trails described in the documents provided upon your arrival vary in difficulty from 10 to 42 km. These trails are marked and certified by the French Cycling Federation. Please feel free to contact us so our specialist can advise you and suggest personalized routes.

Optional guide : The main advantage of having a guide is their ability to suggest a route tailored to your preferences. With extensive knowledge of all the pleasant, fun, and even technical trails, our guide will share their knowledge of the history, heritage, and natural treasures of the Sundgau region (€250/day for groups of four or more).

- stay 3 days/2 night from 150€/person in a double room and half board
